Runs in an always-on-top 800 x 600 window. Revolutionary!
The Operator's Side PC voice recognition trial version was a promotional piece of software released in Japan on June 2, 2003. It allowed users to interact with Rio using a prerelease version of the game's voice recognition software. Users could tell Rio to run and shoot, or ask her about her hobbies or relationship status. The voice clips used for Rio are not present in the final game.
There is also an English counterpart to this demo.
The download link was removed from the official website on February 27, 2004, with the demo itself refusing to function after that date. Restoring functionality is trivial, as you can simply change your computer's date to any point between June 2, 2003 and February 27, 2004. Though, it is becoming increasingly difficult to run this program due to the deprecation of Macromedia Flash Player, which is required to run this demo. An archive of the PC demo can be found here.
